Biography

What's the story ?

Pierre-Adrien & the Daemons is a singer-songwriter project built around a voice, expressive guitars and a strong taste for atmosphere. At the crossroads of indie rock, blues pop and English-language songwriting, the songs aim less for instant impact than for a lasting trace.
Before launching this project, Pierre-Adrien was the singer, guitarist and frontman of The
Howlin' City, a guitar-and-drums garage-blues-rock duo active for seven years. The band
released four EPs and toured across France and Europe - including the Netherlands, Germany,
England and Scotland - as well as Sri Lanka.
The songs explore time, departure, return, the fear of standing still and the possibility of
change. They are written in English for its musicality, concision and poetic distance. The visual
world extends the writing through vintage photography.
